UP42 is changing the way geospatial data is accessed and analyzed. The developer platform and marketplace bring together multiple sources of data such as satellite imagery, weather data, and more—with algorithms to identify objects, detect change, and find patterns. Industry leaders use UP42 to inform business decisions and build scalable customer solutions.

We are looking for a Channel Sales Manager (m/f/x) to join our motivated team in Berlin

About the role:

  • Develop UP42’s network of resellers, that will help us grow/mature our company’s sales pipeline

  • Engage and develop relationships with companies all over the world, with a strong focus on Europe and North America

  • Work closely with UP42’s sales team, to explore joint opportunities with the different resellers

  • Get in charge of answering proposals, jointly with our channel partners

  • Develop a good understanding of UP42 geospatial products and make sure to leverage all capabilities available through our platform

  • Interact and convince both external (within the reseller’s organization) and internal (within UP42) stakeholders.

  • Work in interface with very diverse functions and navigate with very different topics: sales & marketing, product, engineering, data science, finance, legal, etc.

Job requirements

About you:

  • 5+ years of related experience

  • Strong reseller management and/or bid management experience required along with a demonstrated track record of success

  • Experience in a similar industry and/or technical background in remote sensing and/or space-tech

  • Ability to source, sell, and close deals; being familiar with concepts like carrying quota and closing

  • Success in acting as a bridge between the company and its current market and future markets

  • Ability to work independently under tight deadlines in a start-up environment

  • Strong decision-making skills, negotiation and persuasion skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Fluency in English
