We are looking for our first Customer Success Manager- North America (m/f/x) to join the UP42 team remotely and manage customer portfolios in the NAM region.


As a Customer Success Manager, your mission is to ensure long term customer retention by building loyalty, understanding customer needs, helping them realize value and achieve their goals. The key to success in this role is empathy, proactive attitude and willingness to go the extra mile for your customers. Your contributions will directly impact our growth and help drive customer value.

About the role:

  • Build long lasting business relationships and manage customer portfolios

  • Ensure successful delivery of our products and services

  • Provide timely solutions according to customer needs

  • Build and execute customer success plans

  • Take ownership of customer engagement (onboarding, trainings, kick-offs, status reviews and health checks)

  • Identify opportunities to grow accounts, ensure renewals and minimize churn in collaboration with the sales team

  • Ensure an excellent end-to-end customer experience

  • Drive and execute internal projects to implement customer success best practices and improve internal processes

Job requirements

About you:

  • Working knowledge of customer success processes

  • Track record of successfully managing your own book of business

  • Background in geospatial or similar field, with experience using GIS/remote sensing software and tools to visualize, inspect and troubleshoot geospatial data

  • Effective communication skills with an ability to explain technical concepts and details to both technical and non-technical audiences with a sense of empathy

  • Combination of technical savviness and problem solving skills to proactively identify issues and find the best possible solution in a time sensitive manner

  • Experience with or a working understanding of APIs

  • Strong organizational skills, an attention to detail and an ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
