(Junior) Product Manager (m/f/x)

UP42 is changing the way geospatial data is accessed and analyzed. The developer platform and marketplace bring together multiple sources of data such as satellite imagery, weather data, and more—with algorithms to identify objects, detect change, and find patterns. Industry leaders use UP42 to inform business decisions and build scalable customer solutions.

We are looking for a (Junior) Product Manager (m/f/x) to join our motivated team in Berlin.

As a member of the Data team, you’ll have the opportunity to work on integrating new data products into our data platform, improve how data is discovered by our users, and collaborate with other teams to bring these new integrations to market.

About the role:

• Be part of a multidisciplinary team (back-end, front-end, data science, quality assurance, product design) and make new data products available to our users on the API/SDK/GUI

• Be part of the discovery and definition of technical requirements for the integration of new data products

• Support during the delivery of necessary platform features new data products might require

• Contribute to the preparation and prioritisation of improvements to the platform to enhance data discoverability

• Interact with Marketing, Customer Support, and Business Development teams on Go-To-Market journey blog posts, documentation, internal training, etc.

• Collaborate with the rest of the Product Management team (Product Managers, Product Designers) around key initiatives around the product

About you:

• You are looking forward to being part of the product development journey of a feature or new integration; from discovery to release

• You are ready to work with the rest of the teams and functions to make things happen

• It's a plus if you have a passion for geospatial and understand the complexities behind geospatial data. STAC (SpatioTemporal Asset Catalogs) knowledge is a huge plus

• Strong written and verbal communication in English

• We are looking for a mix of Product and Geospatial interests and skills. Feel free to apply even if you only feel comfortable or have experience covering one of them. We have a strong team from whom new joiners will learn
