UP42 is changing the way geospatial data is accessed and analysed. The developer platform and marketplace bring together multiple sources of data such as satellite imagery, weather data, and more—with algorithms to identify objects, detect change, and find patterns. Industry leaders use UP42 to inform business decisions and build scalable customer solutions.

We are looking for a (Senior) Manager Strategy & Projects (m/f/x) to join our motivated team in Berlin.

About the role:

  • Work closely with our CEO on strategic tasks and operational projects making sure the company vision is aligned with the daily operations

  • Build strong relationships with all stakeholders and the Leadership Team

  • Own and drive projects for the CEO including but not limited to specific stakeholder and external business initiatives

  • Act as a sounding board/advisor to the CEO and the entire Leadership team

  • Support the Leadership Team with preparation of board meetings, setting strategic priorities, preparation and budget planning

  • Prepare (and drive) meetings and presentations

  • Enable efficient collaboration within the Leadership Team by being a sparring partner to the CEO, ensuring clear actions and accountability towards their commitments

  • Supporting with strategic market research and strategy development

Job requirements

About you:

  • Several years of experience in a strategy consulting, investment banking, business development, corporate project management position or a comparable position preferably in a fast-paced and agile start-up environment

  • Studies in BA, International Business / Finance or similar

  • Excellent communication and influencing skills and ability to drive alignment across teams

  • High sense of (business) urgency and ability to see the big picture

  • Strong stake- and shareholder management skills

  • Excellent analytical skills including previous work on topics like market research and competitor analysis, as well as high attention to detail

  • A get-things-done attitude in combination with proactiveness and ability to work independently or with minimal supervision

  • Strong entrepreneurial spirit and ability to quickly adapt and learn

  • Fluent English and German skills, any other language(s) is a plus
