UP42 is changing the way geospatial data is accessed and analysed. The developer platform and marketplace bring together multiple sources of data such as satellite imagery, weather data, and more—with algorithms to identify objects, detect change, and find patterns. Industry leaders use UP42 to inform business decisions and build scalable customer solutions.

We are looking for a Talent Acquisition (and HR) Manager (m/f/x) to join our motivated team in Berlin.

About the role:

  • Find, attract and engage the best talent in Berlin by means of direct search and studying and approaching the market and target companies

  • Support and manage strong relationships with our hiring managers and hiring teams to ensure effective and successful hiring

  • Take responsibility for creating / maintaining great candidate experience by providing timely, transparent and clearly defined expectations and information on our internal interview process

  • Take ownership and initiative to change / develop the interview process

  • Take ownership for internal projects such as career progression, onboarding, developing HR strategies, policies, and practices

  • Support other HR related initiatives connected but not limited to compensation and benefits, employee relations

  • Provide regular reporting and updates to the Head of HR and the Leadership Team

Job requirements

About you:

  • General recruitment experience and at least 1-2 years of experience in talent acquisition (different levels of seniority and management responsibility)

  • Strong relationship management skills with a proven track record of building trust and credibility with both candidates and hiring managers

  • Excellent communication, organisational and problem solving skills paired with empathy and creativity

  • Willingness to learn and grow and see challenges as opportunities

  • Proven track record of delivering high speed and high quality recruitment results

  • Fluency in written and spoken English; good verbal and written German is a plus
