UP42 was founded in 2019 with a clear purpose: to transform how organizations order, access, and analyze Earth observation data. Our platform brings together the world’s leading geospatial providers, and offers a single touchpoint to access, manage, and process data at scale. From vegetation management and infrastructure monitoring to disaster response, UP42 helps organizations across industries find solutions to complex problems through Earth observation. Our expert support team and detailed documentation guide our users through every step. Since July 2025, UP42 has been a part of Neo Space Group.

We are looking for a Partnerships Lead (m/f/x) to join our Product team at UP42, where we are building the world’s leading marketplace for geospatial data and analytics. As part of the Neo Space Group, we are in a high-growth phase, and this role offers a unique opportunity to shape the strategic evolution of our entire ecosystem. You will be the bridge between cutting-edge space technology and global commercial success, ensuring our platform remains the premier destination for impactful data providers.

What you will do:

  • Lead the strategic evolution of the UP42 ecosystem by identifying, securing, and scaling strategic business relationships with the world’s most impactful geospatial data and analytics providers.

  • Define the partnership strategy for UP42 and lead the execution of it in close collaboration with the Product, Engineering, Marketing and Business Development teams.

  • Design and execute long-term growth strategies with our most valuable partners, ensuring mutual revenue growth and high platform engagement.

  • Lead the UP42 Partnerships team.

  • Own the continuous improvement of the commercial terms with partners, to ensure the competitiveness and profitability of the UP42 offering.

  • Be a thought leader in the industry, proactively identifying and engaging with new geospatial partners that align with our product roadmap.

Job requirements

Here is a good summary of what we are looking for:

  • Years of professional experience in partnership management, strategic business development, or a similar role within the geospatial, space-tech, or high-growth SaaS sectors.

  • Strong technical foundation or deep intellectual curiosity regarding remote sensing and Earth observation, with the ability to speak confidently about specific product capabilities of our partners.

  • Demonstrated track record of navigating commercial negotiations and successfully managing high-value, complex partnership relationships and agreements.

  • Exceptional ability to act as a strategic bridge between product, engineering, sales and marketing disciplines both internally and with external companies.

  • Entrepreneurial "founder" mentality with the ability to take full ownership of a partner portfolio and work independently under tight deadlines.

  • Impactful communication skills and high emotional intelligence, with the ability to convince both C-level executives and technical leads of the value of our ecosystem.

  • Proven track of record of leading, mentoring and scaling high-performing partnership or commercial teams.

  • Full professional fluency in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Bonus points if you bring:

  • Existing network of key players and decision-makers in the global geospatial industry that can be leveraged immediately.

  • Experience working within a product-led organization or a background in managing API-based technology integrations.

Let us tell you why UP42 is a good choice:

  • Let's disrupt the industry: You get the chance to shape the state-of-the-art geospatial processing platform and create a completely new planetary perspective.

  • Let's stay flexible: We practice a hybrid working model - you can choose when to work from the comfort of your home or join your colleagues in our modern office in the heart of Kreuzberg, or even from a global place of your choice up to 90 days per year.

  • Let's win as a team: We're an inspiring international team working in a fun and productive environment.

  • Let's be fair: We offer a competitive salary package and other perks such as wellbeing initiatives, sponsored fitness subscriptions, educational budget for your personal development and public transportation discount - just to name a few.

  • Let's enjoy the good side of life: Gather in regular team events as well as our global company parties twice a year.

  • Let's think outside of the box: There are challenges and enough space for creativity and taking ownership.
