Job description
UP42 was founded in 2019 with a clear purpose: to transform how organizations order, access, and analyze Earth observation data. Our platform brings together the world’s leading geospatial providers, and offers a single touchpoint to access, manage, and process data at scale. From vegetation management and infrastructure monitoring to disaster response, UP42 helps organizations across industries find solutions to complex problems through Earth observation. Our expert support team and detailed documentation guide our users through every step. Since July 2025, UP42 has been a part of Neo Space Group.
Join our IT team at UP42, where we support the teams building the world’s leading marketplace for geospatial data and analytics. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a top-notch, modern tech stack featuring an entirely cloud-based SaaS ecosystem. You will be the heartbeat of our day-to-day productivity, ensuring our team has the seamless, secure technology they need to drive global commercial success.
What you will do:
Oversee and manage our core IT infrastructure, including our Identity Provider architecture and SaaS ecosystem.
Manage and evolve our Mobile Device Management strategy to support a growing, global Apple-only fleet.
Evolve and enforce our endpoint compliance and identity security baselines to ensure strict adherence to SOC 2 and company security policies.
Lead strategic IT infrastructure projects from the initial whiteboard planning phases right through to successful execution and rollout.
Lead and mentor the continuous professional growth of our junior IT support staff while remaining deeply hands-on with the systems.
Establish rigorous SaaS governance and lifecycle management frameworks to mitigate shadow IT, evaluate vendor risk and prevent data exfiltration.
Take ownership of the IT tooling budget, drive vendor negotiations and continuously rationalise our SaaS stack for maximum efficiency.
Partner cross-functionally with HR, Finance and Engineering to streamline internal processes and remove friction for our teams.
